An agent that keeps docs in step with your product
Docsheaf Agent will watch for signs that a page is out of date and draft the fix as a change request — so a person reviews every word before it goes live.
Docsheaf Agent is planned and isn’t available yet. Today, change requests, merge rules and Insights content gaps give your team the same loop by hand — and the REST API lets you script it.
What it’s designed to do
Flag stale content
Notice when pages drift from your product and queue them for review.
Draft change requests
Propose the edit as an ordinary change request, with a diff your team can read.
Learn from gaps
Turn frequent searches with no results into suggested new pages.
Humans stay in charge
The agent will work inside the same review workflow your team already uses.
Automate it yourself today
Everything the agent will do is already in the REST API. Open a change request and import Markdown into it from a script or CI job.
# Open a change request on a space
curl -X POST "$DOCSHEAF/api/v1/spaces/$SPACE/change-requests" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $DOCSHEAF_TOKEN" -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"subject": "Update the CLI flags page"}'
# Import a Markdown page into change request #12
curl -X POST "$DOCSHEAF/api/v1/spaces/$SPACE/change-requests/12/content/import" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $DOCSHEAF_TOKEN" -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"title": "CLI flags", "markdown": "# CLI flags\n..."}'Frequently asked questions
Is Docsheaf Agent available?
Not yet. It’s planned, and we don’t have a date to share.
Will the agent publish changes on its own?
No. It’s designed to open change requests, which follow your space’s merge rules like any other edit.
Can I build something similar now?
Yes. The REST API can create change requests, import Markdown, update documents and request reviews, so a script or CI job can propose doc updates today.
