Publish docs sites readers love to use

Group your spaces into one branded site, publish it on a subdomain or your own domain, and give readers fast search, clear navigation and a way to tell you what’s missing.

One site, many sections

A site owns its spaces. Each space is a tab in the site header, and the first one is the home page.

Sections as tabs

Guides, API reference and changelog side by side in one site. Reorder them, or move a space to another site with its history.

Pages, groups and links

Nest pages, group them under headings in the table of contents, and link out to external pages.

Your domain

Serve a site at /p/your-site, on a subdomain, or on your own custom domain.

Make it yours

One primary color re-themes the entire site in light and dark mode.

Brand color and tint

Pick a primary color and optionally tint the neutral palette to match.

Logo and icon

Separate logos for light and dark mode, plus a site icon.

Typography and corners

Choose Inter, system, serif or mono fonts and rounded or straight corners.

Header and footer

Up to eight header links, custom footer text and an optional “Powered by” badge.

Built for readers

Server-rendered pages that load fast and are easy to navigate.

⌘K search

Full-text search with highlighted matches across every section of the site.

Outline and navigation

Table of contents, on-page outline with scroll-spy, breadcrumbs and previous/next links.

Page feedback

“Was this helpful?” on every page, reported in Insights.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Set a custom domain in the site settings and point the domain at Docsheaf. Sites are also available on a subdomain and at a path on the app domain.

Can I publish docs privately?

You can publish a site as unlisted: it’s only reachable through a share link and isn’t indexed. Anyone who has the link can read it.

Can one site cover several products or audiences?

Yes. Each space in a site becomes a section with its own tab, so guides, API reference and help articles can live under one domain.

Are Docsheaf sites good for SEO?

Pages are rendered on the server, and public sites get a sitemap, robots.txt and per-page metadata automatically.

Do sites support dark mode?

Yes. Readers can switch between light, dark and system themes, and you choose the default.
