Clinical and product docs that stay correct

Procedures, product guides and integration docs that change only after review, with a full history of every version.

Every version, accounted for

When a procedure changes, you need to know what it said before, and who signed off on the new version.

Access only for the people who need it

Keep internal procedures internal, and give everyone else exactly the access they need.

Deploy in your own environment

Run Docsheaf on infrastructure your security team already approves.

Self-hosted

A Node.js app with PostgreSQL and S3-compatible storage, running in your cloud account.

Your controls, your program

Docsheaf isn’t a HIPAA-certified service and doesn’t sign BAAs. Self-hosting keeps it inside the controls you already run.

Frequently asked questions

Is Docsheaf HIPAA compliant?

Docsheaf doesn’t make HIPAA claims or sign BAAs. Don’t store protected health information in your docs. If you need Docsheaf inside your own boundary, self-host it on infrastructure you control.

Can we require review before a procedure changes?

Yes. Lock the space. Every edit then needs a change request, and someone has to approve it before it can merge.

Can we see earlier versions of a page?

Yes. Docsheaf stores an immutable revision for every merge, plus periodic snapshots of live edits, so you can browse and compare them.

Can we self-host Docsheaf?

Yes. Docsheaf runs as a Node.js app with PostgreSQL and local or S3-compatible file storage, and migrations run automatically when the API starts.
